The wall is located in Post Alley adjacent to the  box office  for the Market Theater, a venue for comedy shows and other small performances. After it became the host of  Unexpected Productions ' Theatresports in 1991, the theater's walls were covered by patrons' pieces of used gum that had  pennies  pushed into them.  The important thing to note about the start of Seattle’s Gum Wall is it  wasn’t  planned. ALLOPHONES

Imagen
Section I: Prior knowledge 1-     Based on what you have learned of English: How do we change a noun into its plural form? (only regular nouns) I remember that when I need to change a noun into its plural form only add a suffix, usually “s” or “es”.   For example, when a noun ending in vowel only add “s” and when a noun ending in consonant you need to add “es” but there are many exceptions.   2-     Have you heard of allophones before? If yes, what do you know? If not, do quick research about the topic and write your understanding of them.   I remember a little bit   I think that allophones is when a letter have different sound and depending on the others letter for example the letter /t/ this letter have different sounds depending on where it is located.     Section II: Research 3-     What are the allophones that are used in English to represent the regular plural form? I remember that we have three   allophones that are used in English to represent the plur

Daylight Saving Time in the United States!!

Imagen
According to my research when we talk about daylight saving time in the us we mean the time change that is allowed in the United States so I understood this change originated many years ago. In the United States Daylight Saving Time begins at 2:00 a.m. local time on the second Sunday in March. On the first Sunday in November areas on Daylight Saving Time return to Standard Time at 2:00 a.m. When Daylight Saving Time begins in the United States turn your clocks ahead one hour. At the end of Daylight Saving Time turn your clocks back one hour. In a nutshell this event happens annually and is a time change that has to do with the seasons of the year.

Sequence words

Imagen
The use of sequence words. Sequence words are used in written and spoken English to show the order of events or steps in a process. These words help us to make the message we want to convey clearer and more concise. Remember that to follow a sequence of instructions we need words to guide us what is the first step, what is the next and how we finish a process or an event. “ Tell the truth BB wolf” First we can see in the video how she tells us that one Saturday the villains of the village were arranging painting and hammering the area where they live and the Wolf gets a call  Then when the Wolf finished the call the crocodile asked him: who is calling you on the phone? And the Wolf said, it was miss wanderley invited me to the library.  She wanted him to tell her the story of how he met the three little pigs Meanwhile the Wolf was thinking how he would tell the story his evil friends were suggesting that he would tell the story in another way  After that the baby Wolf rushed to the li

UNREAL TIME

Imagen
When you talk about unreal time you refer for example: hypothetical situations or impossible wishes. We often shift the verb form backwards. For example, the present changes to the past, and the past changes to the past perfect.  As we have mentioned before this grammatical tense is very important since it helps us to express our wishes, situations that we would like to pass or that will change however it is not a reality neither in the past nor in the present, perhaps they could become a reality in the future but as the future is uncertain this grammatical tense is also. The verb to wish is followed by an 'unreal' past tense when we want to talk about situations in the present that we are not happy about but cannot change. for example: subject+ wish/ wishes + subject+ verb in past  I wish I had a new motorcycle I would  go to the university early. He wishes he were more hadsome. She wishes she had a new job. We wish we were at the beach. They wish they make a better effort.
